GREEN SCHOOL PROJECT 2011

INS Santa Eulàlia is a state school in Terrassa, near Barcelona, in Spain. Our school has more than 800 students from 12 to more than 20 years old. Each classroom can recycle the paper and our students can recycle the batteries, too.

Last course it was the first time INS Santa Eulàlia participated in this great project. This time there are other different students from our school and I hope they will be more of the environmental issues and how they can improve their planet.
One of the new actions of our school will be to have yellow containers to recycle the plastic they use when they have breakfast in the playground: tins, plastic bottles, juices,..

This project has more activities than last course´s one, so some activities are going to be obligatory and other ones optional. They have joined different groups depending on the topic chosen. Here there is the new wiki http://greenschoolsproject2011.wikispaces.com/

EARTH DAY


My students are sticking logos on my wall. Then they are going to create their own walls with the same logo and slogan so that their partners can work on their walls. I had to create this week another wall, click on the new wall new wall

Once they have posted different slogans with images individually, yesterday they started to work in pairs to make a big poster in order to celebrate the Earth Day. It will be displayed in the corridor next to our two groups collaborating in this project. The poster has been finished.
Today our school has posted its logo and slogan, our students are thinking about their future in our planet. It´s great.
